The party was my mother-in-law's 60th birthday party, so we had to mix up a large 6 and 0 gold foil balloon and lots of latex balloons.
My mother-in-law has a lot of "famous" sayings, so it was a great idea for us to use paper cutouts to allow all of our party guests to share their favorite G-Mom Quotes. The military has a slogan and G-Emma has a catchphrase!
I used an old picture frame (which I've used at countless parties, events, and baby showers at this point) and found masking tape, little green clothespins, and fellow soldiers writing their favorite quotes on it. They can be added to the display to read to the guests of honor during the party. I also put all my pencils and extra paper in a small green container. It was a huge hit and the perfect idea to honor the matriarch of the family!
